Q: When I subscribe, do I receive past issues?
A: No, subscribers do not receive hard copies of issues mailed prior to the subscription. Subscribers do receive online access to all journal content, including past and future issues. Instructions for purchasing back issues can be found here.
Q: How do I renew/cancel my subscription?
A: If your subscription was paid by credit card, we
will automatically renew your subscription. If you are
a subscriber and you'd like to cancel your
subscription, you can do so by logging into your
account, clicking on "Update Profile," and then
selecting "No" at the Auto-Renew option at the bottom
of the page. This will automatically cancel your
subscription for the following year. If your
subscription was paid by check, we will send you a
reminder to renew your subscription 45 days before
your subscription expires.
Q: I am a prospective author considering submitting an article for publication. What are the requirements for publishing an article?
A: The journal publishes articles submitted by a diverse group of authors ranging from scientists to lawyers to investors. Articles vary in terms of length and style, depending on the author’s background and topic. Prospective authors can view samples of articles from volume one, issue one, which are freely available for downloading from the site. Additionally, instructions for authors can be found here. The editorial staff will copy edit, format text and footnotes, and check article citations for accuracy.
Q: If I publish an article in Nanotechnology Law & Business, what rights do I retain as an author to publish elsewhere?
A: Under the journal’s standard copyright policy, Nanotechnology Law & Business has the exclusive right to publish the article. Authors can, however, reprint articles in electronic or printed form, as long as a credit line and copyright notice referencing the journal are included. Additionally, the reprinted article cannot be included in a publication for sale. In certain circumstances, the journal can amend its copyright policy to fit an authors’ needs.
Q: Can I purchase advertising online?
