Abstract:
The commercialization of nanotechnology has begun. Yet, the timing and magnitude of the
impact of nanotechnology in different areas is still unclear. In many cases, the use of
nanomaterials to replace existing materials will go unnoticed by ordinary consumers. In
other cases, however, nanomaterials will have a significant impact on the way people live. In
this issue, we highlight the ten ways nanotechnology will have the greatest impact on modern
life.
