Abstract:
Nanotechnology is recognized as a key enabler for the future economic growth and sustainability of the Singapore economy. This significance is reflected in the substantial investment that has gone into nanotechnology-related R&D and manpower development. This article summarizes the overall investment climate for new technology development and its commercialization, and gives a whistle-stop tour of key developments in nanotechnology research in Singapore.
