Abstract:
Nanoparticles have the potential to revolutionize biotechnology, but there have been many calls for stringent regulation of nanobiotechnology. In this article, Kevin Rollins presents a brief overview of the benefits and potential dangers of nanobiotechnology. He also provides a novel and unique case study of one of the nation’s leading nanotechnology research and development groups. Thearticle concludes with a new regulatory proposal for developing technology based on first-hand knowledge of the unique considerations related to nanoscience development.
