Top Ten Quantum Dot Patents

Abstract:
In this issue, we identify ten patents that are likely to have an impact on the commercialization of quantum dots and products incorporating quantum dots. We have published several articles in the “Top Ten” section focused on patents. It is difficult to accurately predict how emerging nanomaterials will be commercialized, and what patents will be relevant to commercial products. Additionally, in drafting these articles, we do not engage in a detailed legal analysis of the scope or validity of patent claims. The following key patents are listed in no particular order.
