The Impact of Nanotechnology on Energy
Volume 1, Issue 3

Authors:
Kirk Hermann,  Shimokaji & Associates

Abstract:
The world is replete with problems stemming from its continued dependence on limited fossil fuels. In addition, the current energy infrastructure is out of date. Because of this, revolutionary new approaches are needed for the generation, storage, transportation, and conservation of energy. Many of these approaches will embrace the promising new field of nanotechnology. While in the long term this new science will bring sweeping solutions, today it is making incremental improvements to already existing technologies. In this article, intellectual property lawyer Kirk Hermann explores the impact of nanotechnology on energy.
