Venturing into China: China’s Investment in Nanotechnology and IP Considerations for U.S. Companies

This year China is expected to surpass the U.S. in public nanotechnology research and development funding. Consequently, China is eager to work with foreign companies to bolster its nanotechnology industry. In this article, we provide an overview of how U.S. companies can take advantage of China’s nanotechnology funds. We also discuss legal considerations and potential restrictions on transfer of nanotechnology business and technology to China.
